23rd street

Larry and I discovered a street in south Arlington with tons of cute little restaurants...we went to Cafe Pizzaiolo and stuffed our faces with awesome pizza and gelato (my favorite!). As if that wasn't enough food, we then had to go watch a movie about a rat chef...

embossing seal

The state of New Jersey requires that sealed drawings be embossed (rather than stamped)...which is a real pain when there are 200 drawings...and I'm the one doing the embossing.

steel beam installation

This piece of steel weighs over 1,000 pounds and four men dragged it from the truck to the backyard. I think if I ever showed up for work and was told I had to lift 250 pounds, I'd just quit and go home.

a gift for my dad

I finally got these pictures framed that I took when visiting the Air and Space Museum's Udvar-Hazy Center with my dad last December.

chinese fan

I found this today when I was going through some old things - it's a fan I got at a chinese restaurant in Spain seven years ago.

Trust me, after witnessing the birth scene in this movie I doubt anyone will be partaking in any activities afterwards that could lead to getting "knocked up". You may however be "in the mood" to gouge your eyeballs out.

the makings of a pastry chef

I made this peach pie for a late home celebration for Larry's birthday. It had a cream filling on top - yum.

so juicy

This is a Southern Comfort t-shirt that Larry so thoughtfully picked up for me at a bar several years ago. While the tag says it is a size "medium", I am quite certain that not even my left boob would fit into this "shirt." It's on its way to the Donate to Charity pile...unless I alter it to say Southern DIScomfort and send it to Sara...

36

Yup, I gave him comic books for his birthday - the complete Calvin and Hobbes boxed set. (Which is very addictive, by the way.)
