What are these westwards for? I hope you're not sick!

I couldn't stand it - I had to look them up. It appears that they are naproxen (Aleve), but the funny part is that they have "west-ward" on them as if to indicate where they belong. For example, "I reside in the west ward of the Bellview mental institution, whereas Juanita and Trudy are in the east ward."

Geez, Sara, I don't know how you figured that out, but you are right. Naproxen is like super-strong prescription strength Aleve. I've had this ridiculous pain in my hip for the past six months and when it got to the point that I could hardly walk some days I went to the dr. and he gave me these. He also referred me to physical therapy, so we'll see where that goes. It would be nice if someone would actually FIND OUT WHAT IS CAUSING IT TO HURT, though. Is that too much to ask of a medical professional?

I just googled "west-ward" and it came up as naproxen - I also had to memorize generic names of medications at the animal hospital and I can't break the habit even now.

Rachel, my hip has been hurting for the last 6 months as well, and when I ride my bike, I can barely walk afterward! WTF!!!

Well, I'll let you know what it is - if I ever find out myself. Or you could follow the other "advice" that my doctor gave me:

"Maybe you should do some yoga."

Sara - your West Ward/East Ward talk cracks me up! I love that you picked the names Juanita Trudy. And why is Bellview the best name for mental institutions? Wasn't there a famous mental instition in NYC called Bellview?

I don't know what the deal is, but I noticed Bellview (or Bellevue) is a disproportionately common name for mental hospitals in movies - it may be NY based. As for Juanita and Trudy: didn't you notice that they always used names like that in math word problems in elementary school?
