I had my first enameling class tonight. We practiced enameling on copper squares. I chose chinese red enamel - I accidentally overfired which caused the black to appear - but I like the marbelized effect.

This is awesome Rachel! I love that you're always taking art classes. What other things will you be learning doing in this class?
I hope to be making jewelry. I'm really digging the enameling - it's pretty easy and it looks cool. If only I had a kiln at home!
This is beautiful! The overcooking doesn't even look like an accident - the black parts just make it!
