I had hip surgery. They put my leg in traction to pull my femur away from my pelvis. They put a camera into my hip joint! I had a labral debridement and partial synovectomy. They did this all through two tiny incisions - one stitch in each - modern medicine is amazing!

Wow Rachel, looks like your surgeon has an artist's complex. He should stick with his day job!
I know - and it took me forever to get that purple marker off!
But, I am still feeling great (knock on wood) - so I'm fine with him using my butt as a canvas as long as this surgery works! ;)
