I remember that ice! I'm lucky in the sense that out here, it's only ever snow on your car. BUT, it snows every week so it's something you have to deal with a lot.
Sarah - when I was in Syracuse I had a "sno pro" (giant foam broom for pushing snow off your car) and an ice scaper with a 4' long handle.
